A BRITISH dad allegedly punched and killed a drunk Russian man for flirting with his 15-year-old daughter in Thailand.

The 34-year-old dad allegedly smashed the man in the face after he whispered to the teen that he wanted to have sex with her, it is claimed.

The dad and daughter were at a pool villa party in Pattaya when the 36-year-old Russian reportedly began flirting with the teen in the early hours of Monday morning.

Reportedly drunk at the time, the Russian is said to have told the girl that he wanted to have sex with her.

The Brit dad allegedly punched the Russian in the face, causing him to fall, and he crashed headfirst into the ground.

Cops and medics rushed to the scene about 3.16am upon receiving a report of the alleged incident.

The Sun has withheld the names of those allegedly involved so as not to identify the child.

Police found four male and two female foreigners – including the unconscious Russian who was lying on the floor with blood pooling around his head – at the villa, according to Capt Parnsarn Krongsit of the Pattaya City Police Station.

The Russian man was rushed to the Bangkok Hospital in Pattaya but soon died of his injuries.

Superintendent of the Pattaya City Police Station Lt Col Nawin Thirawit said an arrest warrant had been issued for the British man “wanted for assaulting another person resulting in death”.

The Brit was arrested on Monday afternoon at his home, which is not far from the pool villa where he allegedly delivered the fatal blow.

He was detained at the Pattaya Police Station to face legal charges.

The dad told police: “I did not think my punch would lead to the man’s death. I regret my actions.”

His wife, who was said to have left the party earlier in the night, claimed she received a text from her husband about 3am in which he told her he wanted to go home.

She said: “I returned to the villa and found him walking along the street, so I took him back inside.

“When I asked him what happened, he told me that while they were drinking, the Russian man started to sexually harass our daughter, even though his own wife was also there at the party.

“The harassment escalated until the man finally propositioned our daughter. This angered my husband so he punched him once and knocked him out.”

The woman added: “They were drinking together normally until a row broke out.

“I didn’t know what nationality the man was, but he punched [the Russian], who hit his head on the ground.

“I was so shocked because there was a lot of blood.”

Her husband and the Russian met for the first time at the party, according to the Brit dad’s friend.

Pattaya is a nightlife destination which became popular in the 1960s and is now lined with resort hotels, cabaret bars, and 24-hour clubs.

The sprawling red-light city is known to attract retirees as well as those looking for a wild night out, and is particularly loved by Brits.

Shocking video emerged yesterday of a Brit man being kicked in the head by a bouncer at a bar in Pattaya.

He was said to have entered into a coma following the savage attack.

The holidaymaker and two of his friends were reportedly drinking before chaos unfolded on Friday night.

A massive brawl broke out after the Brit and his friends accused staff in the Helicopter Bar of trying to scam them by inflating the receipt.

Disturbing footage showed the moment security guards pounced on the group of men and knocked them to the floor, as one Brit man laid defeated and pleaded with the guards to stop.

The Brit began to sit up, but as he did, one of the guards took a long run-up and delivered a horrific football kick to the side of his head.

He laid completely still on the pavement as people crowded around and fanned him.

Tourism in Thailand

THAILAND is a top choice for Brit holidaymakers – with impressive coastlines, countless islands and sunny weather.

The country’s relaxed attitude to drinking and large nightlife offerings also make it a popular spot for those who want to party.

Alongside the islands known for their party scenes – cities like Bangkok or Pattaya are a big hit.

Pattaya – which was a quiet fishing village – is now known for its resorts, 24-hour clubs and red-light district.

But the country appears to be clamping down more and more on the less-desired effects of its booming tourism industry – like drug and alcohol abuse.

Thailand’s new prime minister, Srettha Thavisin, announced last year that the government is set to change its cannabis policy.

It was the first country in Asia to decriminalise the drug – leading the countless weed cafes and dispensaries in Bangkok, Pattaya or Chiang Mai.

Now its set to be restricted for medical use only.

Concerns are also rising about the impact of overtourism on the country – despite its contribution to Thailand’s economy.
