Disney faces trouble on its centenary anniversary
Disney is celebrating 100 years since its founding but also faces a number of mounting issues.
Disney is burdened with a dying TV division, with its streaming service Disney Plus losing more than $US2 billion this year along with its subscribers as it tries to raise its prices.
Its movie division is also suffering from a string of box office bombs, with its remake of Haunted Mansion and an Indiana Jones sequel failing to earn back their budgets.
Disney World is also reporting lower attendance while still in a legal battle with Florida over its self-governing agreement.
Its stock price has also fallen by more than $US100 a share.
