MTP plea of 11-year-old rape survivor junked

Rajasthan HC rejected the petition of an 11-year-old rape survivor to terminate her 31-week pregnancy, observing that a “fully developed fetus also has right to life, to enter this world and live a healthy life without any abnormalities”.
HC pointed out that the medical board had also opined that MTP won’t be safe for the petitioner.
